Review status

This is a good-faith draft describing Hucodile's actual current practices, published so every policy is accessible before launch. It is written to be accurate, not just present -- but it has not yet been reviewed by outside legal counsel for any specific jurisdiction. Material changes will be published as a new version under Policy Rights below.

Categories

Essential -- required for the site to function: keeping you signed in, remembering your theme, and recording your cookie choice itself. These cannot be turned off, because the site cannot work without them.

Analytics -- helps us understand aggregate usage (which pages are used, general performance) via Google Analytics. Off by default; nothing in this category loads until you say yes.

Marketing -- helps us measure whether campaigns (including a future Kickstarter campaign) are reaching real people, via Meta Pixel. Off by default; nothing in this category loads until you say yes.

Nothing loads before your choice

Analytics and Marketing scripts are not present on the page at all until you grant that category -- not loaded-but-idle, not present-with-a-flag-off. You make this choice the first time you visit, via the cookie banner, and can change it at any time from "Manage cookies" in the footer or your Privacy Settings.

Changing your choice

Open "Manage cookies" (footer, every page) or Settings → Privacy at any time. Turning a category off stops any further data collection in that category from that point forward.
