Review status

This is a good-faith draft describing Hucodile's actual current practices, published so every policy is accessible before launch. It is written to be accurate, not just present -- but it has not yet been reviewed by outside legal counsel for any specific jurisdiction. Material changes will be published as a new version under Policy Rights below.

Our principle

"Your data. Your rules." is not a slogan here -- it is meant to be an observable product behavior. The Privacy & Data Center in your Settings lets you see, export and delete your data directly; this policy explains what sits behind those controls.

What we collect

Account data: name, username, email, phone (optional), and a password (stored hashed by our authentication provider, never in plain text).

Content you author: cards, words, media, messages and any other content you choose to create.

Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.

Optional analytics/marketing data: only after you grant consent through the cookie banner or Privacy Settings. See the Cookie Policy for exactly what each category enables.

How we use it

To provide the service: authenticate you, render your HumanPage to the audience you chose, and operate features you use (messaging, sharing, media hosting).

To keep the service safe: investigate reports, enforce the Community Guidelines, and prevent abuse.

With your consent only: product analytics (understanding aggregate usage) and marketing measurement. Neither loads before you decide -- see the Cookie Policy.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We use infrastructure providers (database/authentication/media hosting) strictly to operate Hucodile, bound by their own data-processing terms. Content you set to Public or Friends is visible to the audience you chose, by your own design -- that is the product, not a third-party disclosure.

Your rights

Access, export, correct and delete your data, and manage tracking consent, all from the Privacy & Data Center in Settings. See the dedicated Data Rights policy for the full detail and how deletion actually works end to end.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. Deleted accounts enter a recovery window (see Data Rights) before data is permanently removed, except where we are legally required to retain specific records (e.g. active safety investigations, financial records where payments exist).
